Lesson 4 - Filesystems in NASes
This lesson covers filesystems usually used in NASes, namely XFS and EXT filesystem family, which are considered mainly from the unformat and undelete aspects.
The difference between EXT filesystems (EXT2, EXT3, and EXT4) is discussed in detail.
Additionally, we discuss what recovery result you may expect when extracting data from an XFS or EXT volume.
In the practice part, you need to recover data from an XFS-formatted volume on which a network share folder was deleted.
